Mary Keppeler - Harpist

She expresses clear, clean sounds through a resonant,
restful, yet energizing music. Mixing classical, popular
and folk arrangements, she creates music that can
convey moods ranging from playfulness to quiet reflection or nostalgia to elegant wonder.

Musical training and harp education for Mary have
included years studying with with Betsy Dahl in Burlington VT, Nyle Hallman (formerly with the Don Ho Show) in Honolulu, HI, National Music Camp in Interlochen, MI, Danis Kelly (principle harpist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra) in Milwaukee, WI, and Alice Chalifoux of the Camden, Maine Summer Harp Colony.

Mary lived for over fifteen years in Romania, Austria and
Japan. During her time abroad, she continued her
playing, doing most of her work in Romania where she
contributed to recordings on four CDs, did live radio work
and played for various public functions including one for
the U.S. Ambassador to Romania.
